This litter has a lot of differences in color, but certainly a lot of similarities in quality! The 10-2 calico barrow is an eye catcher. It starts with structure. Everything points in the right direction and his angles are right. When you study him from the side, he is as balanced as you can make one. He comes at you square and goes away square and true. August to Early September would be his best endpoint. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734356 206734356 Lot 2 10-3 Cross Barrow Dark Cross Barrow (DOB 1-28), Best Next (Moyer's) x Above the Law (Stauffer); this sow has truly been a fixture in our crossbred operation, and she has delivered once again! This litter has a lot of differences in color, but certainly a lot of similarities in quality! The 10-3 chromed up barrow is really attractive as you view him from the side. He is really extended and tall fronted. He is super correct about his hip and hind leg. He too would be best suited for August to Early September shows. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734357 206734357 Lot 3 10-7 Cross Barrow Light Cross Barrow (DOB 1-28), Best Next (Moyer's) x Above the Law (Stauffer); this sow has truly been a fixture in our crossbred operation, and she has delivered once again! This litter has a lot of differences in color, but certainly a lot of similarities in quality! The 10-7 predominantly white barrow is the power hog in the litter.. He is the stoutest featured, heaviest boned pig in the entire offering. He is massive in his rib shape.. He gets out and goes taking an authoritative stride off of both ends. I believe he would be best suited for late July to Mid August shows. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734358 206734358 Lot 4 10-9 Cross Gilt Light Cross Gilt (DOB 1-28), Best Next (Moyer's) x Above the Law (Stauffer); this sow has truly been a fixture in our crossbred operation, and she has delivered once again! This litter has a lot of differences in color, but certainly a lot of similarities in quality! The 10-9 blue gilt is jet level and extended up front. From a skeletal design standpoint, she is excellent! When you study her at the ground on the approach and going away, she is opened up and truly square. And yes, very balanced front to rear. She would be best suited for August to early September shows. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734456 206734456 Lot 5 10-10 Cross Gilt Light Cross Gilt (DOB 1-28), Best Next (Moyer's) x Above the Law; this sow has truly been a fixture in our crossbred operation, and she has delivered once again! This litter has a lot of differences in color, but certainly a lot of similarities in quality! I believe the 10-10 has a really high ceiling. I am really high on the way this one is constructed. She is right about her angles. She has plenty of bone and foot size. I think she has the ideal length of body. She proportions so well. And she has a lot of extra umph to go along with it. She would be best suited for August to earlier September shows. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734454 206734454 Lot 6 11-1 Cross Barrow Dark Cross Barrow (DOB 1-30), Backdrop (Moyer's) x Bullseye ); often one of the biggest challenges is consistency with crossbred on crossbred litters. Not only is this litter consistent but they are outstanding! The 11-1 & 11-2 barrows are peas in a pod. They check a lot of boxes! When you study them at the ground on the approach and going away, they are opened up and truly square. They are big backed and set wide at the pins. And yes, very balanced front to rear. Picking them apart, I would say the 11-1 barrow has slightly more bone and foot size. This pair would be best suited for August to earlier September shows. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734460 206734460 Lot 7 11-2 Cross Barrow Light Cross Barrow (DOB 1-30), Backdrop (Moyer's) x Bullseye; often one of the biggest challenges is consistency with crossbred on crossbred litters. Not only is this litter consistent but they are outstanding! The 11-7 and 11-10 gilts are a bit greener than the 4 and 6 gilts. This pair combines an extra trendy look with impeccable structure. They are jet-level from the side. They take a long and fluid stride both front and rear. Their hip and hind leg design is as good as it gets. Comparing the pair I would give a slight edge to 11-7 in height at the point of the shoulder. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734455 206734455 Lot 11 11-10 Cross Gilt Dark Cross Gilt (DOB 1-30), Backdrop (Moyer's) x Bullseye; often one of the biggest challenges is consistency with crossbred on crossbred litters. The grand dam of this litter was the 2018 Champion Berkshire Gilt at the Summer Type Conference. We believe this guy could have a bright future as a boar or as a barrow prospect. He is super attractive from the side and is correct on his feet and legs. He has a lot of extra definition down his top and has a wide, functional hip. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734462 206734462 Lot 13 Duroc Gilt Duroc Gilt (DOB 2-6), Sweet Timber (Kremer) x Last Chance (Top Cut); the sire of this litter is a son of Skull Candy at Laird's that we raised last Spring. This is the dam's first litter. I like a lot of things about this gilt. It starts with her structure. Her angles are correct. She is long and level about her hip. She takes a long and flexible stride. She is immature in her look but has all the right indicators. I believe she has a bright future in the show ring and as a sow prospect. https://www.kremeryorkshires.com/apps/photos/photo?photoID=206734461 206734461 Lot 14 15-3 Cross Boar Dark Cross Boar (DOB 2-9), Diamond in the Rough (Kremer) x Shag It (Kremer); the Diamond in the Rough boar is one we tied into at the Indiana State Fair this past summer. He placed 2nd in his class. He is a (People Helping People x Never Before). This is a second parity sow that I am extremely high on. The 15-3 and 15-4 males belted males are really similar in the way they are constructed. They are bold bladed, boxy ribbed and extra correct in their structure. I read this pair as being easy feeding pigs that will get better every day. The 15-3 is slightly wider pinned.
