Kremer Family Yorkshires & Show Pigs

A Winning Tradition

2014 (Winter-Spring) Farrowing Season

Posted by kremeryorkshires on March 2, 2014 at 5:10 PM

What a brutal winter this has been!  Snow storms and sub-zero temps made us a little nervous this winter.  The pigs have been been doing fabulous!  They have made a lot of healthy and strong piglets in lots of color patterns and freckly blues.  As of this post, we will have three more sows to go having a little later season than we usually do.

Now that we are successfully working our way through this rough, tough weather we are also concerned about the recent outbreaks of PED in Ohio.  We're going to request that our customers take heed of this dangerous virus that wipes out baby pigs.  We'll be taking a few more precautions as well to prevent contracting this deadly thing.  The North Coast Sale will continue at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds on April 11th. We're staying confident that we will make it through this spring without any incidents.

That said, we're really excited to show you what's in the barn as soon as we can!!
