Kevin & Frances Get Married

In case you hadn't heard, Kevin Kremer got married to his sweetheart Frances Harker on February 18, 2012. It took them long enough! He proposed two years earlier on a trip to Northeast Ohio's wine country. You'll see the place in the photos below - go figure that it would have something to do with pigs. They returned to that location and toured wine country again for their honeymoon. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a nicer February day to celebrate.  We wish we could have invited all of our friends, but we haven't sold the million dollar pig to throw that party yet.

2012 Spring Litters Are (Almost) All Here!

The farrowing schedule started on February 1st and has been very busy!!  The barn has a long span of winter-spring birth dates and we should be able to accomodate a lot of county fairs and livestock exhibitions.  There are some really colorful piglets in the mix from lightly speckled blues to some surprising spots.  There are definitely some well-built, strong pigs across the board.  The purebred York litters are even more consistently strong.
